8th grade S.T.E.M. students from MVMS came to visit the Precision Machining lab and work with students from Precision Machining. 8th-grade stem students are partnered with Precision Machining students to form teams for the derby car race at the end of the year in Precision Machining. The goal is for students to collaborate on team names and the design of PRM student's cars, numbers, team colors, and decals. They will then put together wooden versions in their classrooms but come back intermittently to gain an understanding of how the PRM students are manufacturing their cars out of aluminum.
