Juniors in Cosmetology were fine-tuning their skills recently in lab. Maddie worked on timing a perm wrap and Bella worked on a 90-degree haircut.
Students in Cosmetology experience a full-service interactive salon environment providing hair, nail, and skin care services.
Students in Culinary Arts plan, prepare, and cater meals for formal events and casual dining. Juniors prepared breakfast recently for Mr. McKown and Mr. McWatters. The food was delicious!

Mr. Clippinger & Mr. Broseus cooked up breakfast for students on the grill in Building Trades and Metal Fabrication & Welding at the end of Lift Training Week. The students had a great time and enjoyed some time together!
Landscape Design & Management juniors worked on hardscape patios and retaining walls. Students selected a design that fit within certain parameters and built a patio using landscape pavers. They set the slope using the base material and finished by sealing the patio.

KCCC's JROTC program competed in their first drill competition recently at Delaware Hayes High School. Our senior JROTC members did a nice job in their leadership roles. We swept the exhibition category with both teams placing first. Cadet Gavin Amoroso's regulation team picked up a second-place trophy while Arianne Scott placed sixth of 300 in individual drill.

KCCC seniors are able to earn the opportunity to take their career tech skills to businesses and industry during their senior year by meeting academic grade, attendance, behavior, and performance expectations in their career tech lab and academic classes.
The Associates Degree in Business Management earned by CollegeU-Business students mandates students to complete 168 hours of experience in the field during their last semester. Partnering with local businesses, students are given the opportunity to assess and use the concepts and ideals learned during their two years in the program. This time spent in the "real world of business" is priceless.
