Students in Culinary Arts prepared and served the food for the Exchange Club Luncheon held at KCCC on Friday, April 5th. The menu included garden salad, dinner rolls, grilled flank steak, stuffed chicken florentine, saffron risotto, roasted asparagus, and key lime pie.
Students in Culinary Arts plan, prepare, and cater meals for formal events and casual dining.

Seniors in HVAC replaced bad sections of the cast aluminum heat exchange in Buildings 2 & 4 at KCCC.
Students in HVAC install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and environmental controls.
KCCC seniors who were weighing decisions on their future plans had the opportunity to visit Ohio Means Jobs (OMJ) Knox County on Wednesday. Seniors had the opportunity to test out the Virtual Reality Career Lab and also had a chance to talk with OMJ representatives about job opportunities in Knox County and what OMJ has to offer people seeking employment. Congratulations to all of our students who competed at the SkillsUSA State Championships this past week! Caleb Rashley finished in 2nd place and Evan Maggard finished in 5th place. Great job by all of our students!

Mark Bobo, Director of Member Relations with the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA), was at the KCCC School Board meeting on Thursday, April 11 to give out 15-Year Service Awards to Donnie Rogers and Steve Thompson. We appreciate Mark coming up to present the awards and we thank Donnie & Steve for their 15 years of service on our KCCC School Board.
Congratulations to Adyson Beaver on earning the A.C.E. Award from the Exchange Club of Mount Vernon & Knox County! Adyson is a senior from Mount Vernon High School and in our Sports Medicine & Exercise Science program here at KCCC. We are proud of you!
