Students in English classes worked on Mock Interview preparation recently. Students combined classes and participated in round-robin style interviews with other students. They took turns interviewing each other. Great opportunity to prep for our Mock Interviews tomorrow (Wednesday)!

High School Substitute Teacher Opportunity!
Students in Automotive Technology reviewed a no-start symptom. The cause of the no-start was a networking issue with a connector being loose at the powertrain control module.
Students in Automotive Technology diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles alongside a certified Master Technician.

Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Dugan, and Mr. Reuser attended the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference. They had the opportunity to collaborate with other career centers, teachers, professors, and mathematicians. They are excited to share what they learned with the KCCC Math Department!

KCCC is almost at capacity in the high school and preschool. Funds from the Permanent Improvement Levy will provide the needed funding for remodeling current spaces and building additions for new programs.
Coshocton Driver Training
Priority for Coshocton Driver Training School will be given to KCCC students. However, if all seats have not been filled within 2 weeks of the start date, students who do not attend KCCC will be accepted into the course. KCCC students are encouraged to sign up ASAP. Students who do not attend KCCC can get on the waiting list and will be notified if an opening is available.
Cost is $335 for in-class/in-car ($345 for non-KCCC students). Classes are available throughout the school year each month. All current KCCC students who are 15 years and 5 months can register for the class. Call (740) 552-1639 or email safedrivertraining@yahoo.com to register. Students will need to provide their first and last name along with their KCCC lab they are enrolled in.
The Knox Public Health Drive to Succeed Grant can support students who need assistance with funding. Any student who attends school in Knox County is able to apply for the Drive to Succeed Grant. All Knox County Career Center students are able to apply for the grant.

During the month of October, The Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon will be collecting gently used coats at over 25 locations in Knox County. The coats will be cleaned by Gault’s Plaza Cleaners and then taken to Interchurch Social Services and the Salvation Army to be distributed to children in need before winter arrives. Since 1987, nearly 19,000 coats have been donated, cleaned, and distributed.
