"Attending the KCCC gave me the foundation I needed to pursue a career as a hairstylist and a business owner. The staff was always encouraging and treated students as adults. Teachers there genuinely care about your success during school and after graduation. When you attend the KCCC you will always have a resource to come back to even long after you graduate. I look forward to my children becoming students there!" -Jessica Russell

"The career center was a great opportunity because it brought me out of my shell and allowed me to do hands-on learning in the lab. I also gained hands-on experience working at a golf course during my senior year for co-op. I met many great people and had a lot of great teachers while I was there!" -Maria (Perry) Moreland

KCCC welcomed families for a Trick or Treat event hosted by the Early Childhood Education program. Cosmetology students offered face painting and had trick-or-treat stops for the children. Student Council also joined in the fun by having crafts in the library and a table of goodies for children to pick from. Mrs. Lifer's CBI class, KCCC administrators, and our KCCC Preschool staff also had trick-or-treat stations for children. The Early Childhood Education students conducted carnival games and served donuts, cider, and milk as well. Thank you to all the students and instructors who made this event possible!

CollegeU-Business juniors worked with assigned teams in Team Building on a project called "Take a Trip". This involved coordinating and planning with a team on where they wanted to go for your trip. The presentation covered the economy, government, customs, values and foods, flag, and map of the trip. The trip was to span over 7 days. In order to understand the value of evaluation, the students conducted a self and peer evaluation following the presentations.
