Maddox and Joe learned milling machine set up recently in Precision Machining. Jay and Oscar learned how to install and indicate a vice on a milling machine. Mr. LaFevre taught Keith how to indicate a part in a 4 jaw chuck on a lathe. Gavin, Jacob, and Logan learned how to set the tram on a milling machine.
Students in Precision Machining work daily with the same advanced equipment and techniques as industry leaders.

Ms. Grace, a senior in Early Childhood Education (ECE), taught lesson on Dr. Seuss. Children learned that Dr. Seuss is an author. They also learned what rhythm and rhyme were from Dr. Seuss. Children participated in the following activities in learning about Dr. Seuss:
-matching shapes & colors
-counting fish
-made Cat in the Hat handprints
Students in ECE have fun preparing children for kindergarten!


KCCC's therapy dog, Nova, along with SRO Armstrong, popped in to visit with Mrs. Kallay. We are grateful to have Nova & SRO Armstrong at KCCC!


Ms. Emma, a senior in Early Childhood Education (ECE), taught lessons on bugs & insects to our KCCC Preschool children! Children learned that insects have six legs and wings and that an entomologist studies insects.
Some of the activities children participated in included:
-bug counting
-bug letter roll and write
-creation of our own bugs
Students in ECE have fun preparing young children to enter kindergarten!


Mr. Greene, KCCC's Computer Network Technology (CNT) instructor, taught a lesson recently to juniors in CNT on Intro to Networks.
Students in CNT obtain training in computer hardware repair & maintenance, software troubleshooting & network administration and earn a variety of industry credentials.

Juniors in Cosmetology learned how to perform a clipper cut during lab. Students learned the "do's & don'ts" of a clipper cut. Mrs. Mezie used the red hair as the "don't" and the black hair as the "do".
Students in Cosmetology explore the strategies necessary to manage or own a salon or spa.

KCCC's JROTC competed in the McDowell High School Regional Drill competition this past weekend in Erie, PA. Our JROTC finished in 2nd place overall. We also earned 2nd place in the Armed Exhibition, 3rd place in Inspection, and 3rd place in Unarmed Exhibition.

Students and staff from KCCC's Individualized Career Exploration (I.C.E.) program packed bags full of food for Backpacks of Hope. Backpacks of Hope provides healthy, weekend meals to local elementary students. Great service project for our students to be a part of!!
