Hunter Safety is imperative during hunting seasons. Ms. Metzger, a certified Hunter Education Instructor through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, led the course in her AgScience I classes as part of the Wildlife Conservation curriculum. The students completed the instruction and then took the test. We had 100% passage rate!!! Now they can get their hunting licenses in time for deer season! Congratulations, AgScience juniors!

COSHOCTON DRIVER TRAINING Cost is $335 for in-class/in-car ($345 for non-KCCC students) Classes are available throughout the year. All current & incoming KCCC students who are 15 years and 5 months can register for the class. Call 740-552-1639 or email safedrivertraining@yahoo.com to register. Students will need to provide their first and last name along with the KCCC lab they are enrolled in. The Knox Public Health Drive to Succeed Grant can support students who need assistance with funding.

Mrs. Swanson’s STEM classes constructed haunted houses as a final project for their architecture unit. Students’ researched American architectural styles and elements, learned to draw isometric figures, created to scale elevation drawings, and combined all skills to construct a haunted house. Great job on the project!!

8th graders from Centerburg, Clear Fork, Danville, East Knox, Fredericktown, and Mount Vernon visited KCCC last week to learn more about Career Technical Education (CTE). It was great having the students in our labs! Thank you for coming!

Students in the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at KCCC visited with Columbia Elementary children. Students had a chance to put together a Thanksgiving activity with children in Mrs. Scott's class. Our students then had the opportunity to join them for recess! Thank you to Mrs. Scott & Columbia Elementary School for having us out for the visit!
