Zach Mullins (CollegeU-Business Class of 2022) recently visited to share with CollegeU juniors about his time in the lab, what he is doing now, and his future plans. After high school graduation, Zach enrolled at Mount Union University, where he is majoring in Finance. He is graduating with a Bachelor's Degree after only two years because of the degree he earned in CollegeU-Business. Currently, he is applying to law school and hopes to practice in the area of business law/taxes.

CollegeU-Business, Computer Network Technology, Digital Media and Software Development, and Pre-Professional Mentorship students recently traveled to Columbus to attend the Business Professionals of America Blue Jackets Career Day. The students toured Nationwide Arena, skated on the practice rank, and participated in a panel discussion with professionals from the Blue Jackets organization. The panel had presentations from Marketing, Customer Relations, Broadcasting, and Ticket Sales. They answered questions about how credit card data is used, the sales process, career advice, and how to promote jersey sales.

Students from the Precision Machining program at Knox County Career Center (KCCC) visited Worthington Industries in Columbus on Friday, November 10. Precision Machining students had the opportunity to see aspects of Tool and Die and got a close up look at heat treat furnaces in action at Columbus Steel. In the Worthington Industries Cylinder Division students got to see a product go from start to finish and got to view tool and dyes running in action. Worthington Industries Human Resources Representatives spoke with students about the history of Worthington Industries, various job opportunities, the culture they live by, and the benefits of working there. Great opportunity for our students!
