Juniors in Digital Media & Software Development created a Lego stop motion animation (movie). Students will edit their creation in Premiere Pro where they also will add sound effects and background music. Students are learning how to use Adobe's Premiere Pro in order to edit video and work towards an Adobe certification for the Premiere Pro program.
Students in Digital Media & Software Development learn the fundamentals of video production and sound, 3D Modeling and Animation, and create dynamic publications with Photoshop and Illustrator.

KCCC students in CollegeU-Business and National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) visited with Mrs. Scott's children at Columbia Elementary on Valentine's Day. Our students assisted children with a Valentine's craft and then went outside and played with children at recess. Great activity for our students to participate in!

Ms. Cheyanne, a senior in Early Childhood Education (ECE), taught lessons on Llama Llama. Children learned that Llama Llama teaches us how to share, how to be good friends, and about big emotions. Children participated in the following activities in learning about Llama Llama:

Ms. Zandria, a senior in Early Childhood Education (ECE), taught lessons on Community helps/Paw Patrol. Children learned that there are many different community helper jobs and that it's kind to thank all of our community helpers. Children participated in the following activities as they learned about community helpers:
-Children had their own community in dramatic play including a market, firehouse, bakery and a house.
-They made a thank you poster for our school’s community helpers to see.
-They also made their favorite Paw Patrol characters in art.

Students in Automotive Technology used a borescope to inspect internal engine components, which allowed them to visually assess areas that would otherwise require disassembly. This hands-on experience helps them diagnose wear, damage, and potential issues efficiently while enhancing their technical skills. Juniors also carefully disassembled a front suspension to learn its components, function, and proper removal techniques.
Students in Automotive Technology diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles alongside a Certified Master Technician.
KCCC seniors are able to earn the opportunity to take their career tech skills to businesses and industry during their senior year by meeting academic grade, attendance, behavior, and performance expectations in their career tech lab and academic classes.
Students in Collision Repair have been busy getting vehicles back on the street! Spencer Trapp applied plastic filler, while Gracelynn Parrish sanded out imperfections in the clearcoat. Students in Collision Repair design, paint, and refinish vehicles using modern welding, sanding, masking, painting, and creative airbrush procedures.
Skylar Funk, senior in Cosmetology, completed the 1500 hours to qualify to sit for the Cosmetology State Board exam in Columbus. After passing the exam Skylar will be working at a salon. Good luck, Skylar!

Students in Sports Medicine & Exercise Science performed wellness training with students in JROTC. Sports Medicine & Exercise Science students conducted a variety of health, wellness, and fitness tests on JROTC students. Great collaboration!!
